This site is free to use. To keep it that way, some of the financial products we mention may be affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works and the rules we hold ourselves to.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link that lets a partner know you arrived from this site. If you go on to open an account or buy a product, we may earn a commission or referral fee — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone directly.

How you'll always know

Whenever a link is a paid affiliate link, it is clearly labelled "Sponsored" at the point where it appears, and the technical link is marked rel="sponsored". We do not disguise sponsored links as neutral recommendations. If you don't see a "Sponsored" label, there is no commercial relationship behind that mention.

Our honesty rules

These are built into how the site works, not just promises:

• Useful first, always. Every tip and recommendation has to be genuinely useful with no partner attached. A suggestion appears because it's relevant to your plan — never because someone paid for it.
• Relevance decides placement, not payment. A partner can never buy their way into a slot that doesn't fit your situation.
• Nothing shows as "Sponsored" unless a real, disclosed relationship exists. Until a partner link is actually live, the same slot shows a plain educational tip and this disclosure reflects that.
• Not advice. A sponsored label never means we're recommending a product is right for you. See our Disclaimer.

Current status

Sponsored placements are switched on only as genuine partnerships go live, and each is labelled at the point it appears. The disclosure line in the app footer updates automatically to reflect whether any sponsored links are currently active.

Why we do it this way

The trust you place in a financial tool is the whole product. We would rather earn less and stay worth trusting than push a product that doesn't fit. That's the deal.
